Getting Started

GETTING STARTED

  1. FIRST: If you are a new coach, don't be intimidated by all the information. Focus on finding 1-3 friends and family members to join your first Challenge Group with me. THEN we will work together to help you succeed!
  2. I normally host a new challenge group every month (sometimes more than one), and I recommend my team hosts a new group every month as well. Check with your sponsor coach to find out when their next group is starting.
  3. Get a personal development book right away and start reading! I recommend "The Compound Effect" by Darren Hardy, "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson, "Go for No" by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz to begin with. Read at least 10 minutes per day!

GOALS

  • MONTH 1: Find 1-3 people to join my next Challenge Group, and if you are interested in building your business, sign up for Coach Training!
  • MONTH 2: To build your business, focus on reaching Emerald status & Success Club. Once you reach Emerald and complete your first 30 days of coach training, set your sights on reaching Diamond!

If you are a coach for the Preferred Customer discount, we are very glad you are here!! If you would like to learn more about growing your business into fun-money or a significant income, let me know and I'll add you to our next training.

I highly recommend you complete the Coach Training Academy (CTA) provided in your online office. This will teach you all the basics of coaching, and then we can expand on those together.

Don't stress, and don't feel like you need to rush through everything. Go at YOUR pace and if you have any questions, remember I'm here and so is the rest of the Team.

Time to get started!!

What is Coaching?

So what is this Coaching thing all about??

When you join our Team, you join our Coach FAMILY! You will surround yourself with a group of people that are dedicated to helping others. We SHARE ideas, our ups and our downs, and we are always there for each other. I am ready to help you each step of the way with whichever path you choose.

There are three types of coaches:

1) "Preferred Customer" You just want the awesome discount.
2) "Wait & See" You want to work on your transformation first & get the discount, and then think about sharing your results and helping others OR you want to do this as a hobby.
3) "All IN!" You are ready to build your business and start changing lives!

As you progress through your journey, your needs & goals will change too. You might want to have the discount, but over time you might want to dip your toes in and see what else this opportunity has to offer.

When I first started, I was the Preferred Customer. I just wanted the discount on my Shakeology. There was NO WAY I could be a coach. I was too shy! Seriously, my nickname in school was Mouse. Then as I saw results and others started noticing, I started to share about the products. People started coming to me and asking for help, and it felt amazing being able to help them!! Then they started to see results too and I knew that I wanted more of this feeling. THIS is what I was meant to do. I was actually helping people! And THEN my paychecks started to come in from Beachbody, and I couldn't get over that I was getting paid to share with people! That's just crazy talk! Since I've started, I've been able to pay off my truck, and my only outstanding debt is my mortgage! We have been able to go on family vacations to Disney World (twice), Vegas (three times), Arizona multiple times, a cruise PAID FOR by Team Beachbody, and next year we're going to Nashville AND a Disney Cruise!! That's just a few of the adventures we've been able to go on thanks to the Coaching Opportunity! Thanks to Team Beachbody, we have been able to make some incredible memories!

Remember, creating success is up to YOU! You are the difference between success and failure. I will be here every step of the way to guide you, but I can't do your workouts for you...I can't build your business for you. I'm here to help you, but it's up to you to make it happen!!

Primal Berry Pancake

Another yummy recipe from The Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Recipes. This one takes a little time and dirties a few dishes, but it's worth it!

This big pancake has a texture between a souffle and a pancake, so it's really fluffy! It is gluten free and no added sugar!

Serves 4

Preheat oven to 400 F.

3 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup berries
4 large eggs, separated into whites and yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Heat butter in a 10-inch oven-proof skillet over medium heat. Add the berries and simmer for 3-5 minutes so the liquid thickens.

While the berries simmer, use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks for 1-2 minutes by hand with the vanilla and cinnamon. Gently fold the yolks into the egg whites.

With the heat under the fruit still at medium, spread the egg batter evenly on top of the fruit. Cook 2 minutes without touching, then transfer the pan to the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the batter is puffed up slightly and lightly browned.

Remove the pan from the oven. Place a plate over the pan and flip the pan to invert the souffle so the fruit is face up. Eat warm or at room temperature.

Cheeseburger Pizza

Serves 12 Hands-on time: 15 mins Total Time: 35 mins
This recipe came from Clean Eating Magazine, and it is so good!

INGREDIENTS
*8 oz extra-lean ground beef
*1 small onion, chopped
*1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
*Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
*14 1/2 oz no-salt-added diced tomatoes, drained
*3 Tbsp Dijon Mustard * 2 thin whole-wheat pizza crusts
*1 cup low-fat ricotta cheese *1 cup grated part-skim mozzarella cheese
*1 1/2 cups baby arugula or baby spinach

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 450F. Preheat a nonstick skillet on medium-high. Add beef, onion, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking  up beef with a spoon until no longer pink. Stir in tomatoes and Dijon. Set aside.

2. Place each crust on an individual pizza pan (or place both on 1 large rimless baking sheet). Divide ricotta among pizza crusts, spreading evenly. Top with beef mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella, dividing evenly.

3. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Remove pizzas from oven and sprinkle each with arugula or spinach, dividing evenly. Let rest for 1 minute before slicing and serving.

**Feel free to add other cheeseburger-inspired toppings before baking: a few pickled hot peppers, sliced and pitted green or black olives or even slices of dill pickle! Be sure to drain and rinse any of these jarred condiments first to keep sodium levels in check.

Un-Stuffed Cabbage

This is a yummy, low-carb, quick & easy version of a favorite comfort food! I found this recipe in Mark Sisson's Primal Blueprint - Quick & Easy Meals, and it has become a regular in our house. In fact, I usually double the recipe so we have leftovers for a couple days. :)

Time in the Kitchen: 30 minutes
Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 small white or yellow onion, finely chopped or grated
* 2 large turnips, grated (a head of grated cauliflower can be used instead)
* 1/2 pound ground pork
* 1/2 pound ground bison or beef
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* 1 tablespoon dried parsley
* 1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes in juice (or several fresh tomatoes)

* 1 head cabbage

DIRECTIONS:

In a deep pot over medium-high heat, saute onion and turnip for a few minutes, then cover with a lid and cook for three minutes to steam the turnip.

Remove the lid and add ground meats, salt, pepper and parsley. Saute for 6-8 minutes then add the can of tomatoes. Simmer rapidly for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

White the meat is simmering, cut the cabbage into fouirths, removing inner core. Separate leaves slightly then microwave cabbage leaves, covered with a loose lid, for 5 minutes. Flavor with a little butter and salt. My family likes to use a little apple cider vinegar on the cabbage.

Serve the ground meat and turnip with a side of cabbage.

Banana Pancakes

These pancakes are so quick-n-easy to make and taste awesome! My family requests them every weekend! Top them with a little maple syrup, jelly/jam, or eat them plain! Oh, and they're gluten free!

2 Bananas, mashed
2 eggs

Heat a non-stick griddle to 300 F. Mix together the bananas and eggs. Pour about 1/4 cup portions onto the hot griddle. Cook until top is completely cooked through, and flip. These tend to be a little sticky sometimes. Even if they come up a little messy, they still taste great! :)

This recipe makes about 9 pancakes.
